"Ready?"
He nodded curtly, wearing back his mask as they moved out, blending in with the crowd. As if someone would notice. He strolled around, noticing familiar faces behind the masks they put on. His boring eyes scanned the room for some indication of events that may happened.
And then, he saw her.
His golden-hazeled eyes found another pair of dark chocolate ones, framed by a golden eye mask. She didn't notice him. She was busy talking to another company, a familiar blue-haired one. He hated it. He hated how easy it is for him to found her in such crowd. To feel what he used to feel the moment his eyes captured her figure. For a moment, all he sees is her. He simply forgot about his reasons. Why he's here, why he left, what he'd thrown (he sounded like an idiot). After what seems like forever of intent-staring moment, her dark chocolate eyes found his.
And there comes the sparks. He even forgot he used to feel it. His lips curled into a small smile, hidden behind his full-faced mask.He noticed her eyes staring at him with curiosity, before she looked away, cheeks gone red as she tried to not look at him again. He smirked, but making no move to approached her. Too risky. Too dangerous.
"Leave it."
He sighed, moving his feet to find another spot to keep himself hidden, "You're out of that game. Leave it," again, he nodded curtly, flashing his eyes to the same spot he'd been staring at, hoping to see her again. She's gone. And he should have known it. They won't let him.
Random. Again. Guess who.
